7 years agoDallas Mavericks forward/center Dirk Nowitzki (ankle) will miss the remainder of the season after having left ankle surgery. However, the procedure was relatively minor and he should not be sidelined too long. This injury should not affect Nowitzki's decision to return for one more season. It sounds like Nowitzki is leaning towards playing one more season with the Mavs regardless of this ankle injury.
