BALLER MOVE: Target ~180
CURRENT ADP: 192
ANALYSIS: Rookie wideout Tyler Boyd is stepping into an ideal situation with the Bengals. The second-round pick has the opportunity to produce right away, as the departures of Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu leave Cincinnati without 98 receptions and 1,210 receiving yards from last year.
At 6'1" and 195 lbs, Boyd is on the smaller side for receivers. He also doesn't have blazing speed, with a 40 time of just 4.58. However, he was the seventh wide receiver off the board in 2016 because of his ball skills and production. At the University of Pittsburgh, Boyd showcased exceptional hands and the ability to manufacture big plays. He finished his college career with 254 receptions, 3,361 yards and 21 touchdowns despite enduring a carousel of quarterback play over his three years.
Boyd will likely start opposite A.J. Green in a Bengals offense that ranked fourth in yards per attempt in the 2015. The No. 2 receiver in Cincinnati's offense has reached at least 700 receiving yards and four touchdowns in each of the past three seasons. Standard league owners should target Boyd as a WR4.
