Analysis: Logan Morrison may fly under the radar year after year, but we know he makes the most out of his opportunities. Last season was Morrison's first season with over 400 AB since 2011, and he was a pleasant surprise with 17 HR and eight stolen bases despite a BA and OBP of just .225 and .302. This season in 158 AB for the Rays, Morrison already has seven home runs and four stolen bases with an improved slash line of .253/.341/.418. Morrison is striking out more at 25.1%, but he is walking more at 11.7% and his BABIP currently stands at .311 as opposed to .238 last season.
Morrison has already reached base 61 times and has found 100% success on all of his four steal attempts so far. With a power/speed number of 5.1 and an improved overall approach at the plate that has yielded more steals and home runs, Logan Morrison remains a sneaky candidate for a 20-10 season, which is fantastic considering his 85% availability.
