Baller Move: Add in all leagues
Owned in: 59% of Fleaflicker leagues
Analysis: Billy Burns is appealing for one big reason: speed on the base paths. This season, Burns has had little issue living up to the standards set by his fantastic rookie year, grabbing eight steals in just 110 AB with the A's so far. With a slash line of .273/.304/.336 it is clear that Burns is hitting for singles just fine but struggling with power and walking. The power, we can easily let go of, as no one grabs Billy Burns for his immense HR capabilities. The .304 OBP is slight concerning, especially when you think about how many steals Burns could have if he had the league average OBP of .313. Things do look optimistic for Burns going forward. His BABIP of .297 makes his BA appear to be more than sustainable, and even though his BB% dropped from 4.7% to 3.5%, his strikeout percentage has decreased tremendously from 14.6% last season to just 7.8% this season. Burns's OBP should increase, meaning his total of SB will skyrocket.
