The Lineup
Paul Casey ($9,200)
Last week Casey had a good showing at the CIMB Classic finishing T-24th at 13-under pouring in 97 fantasy points. He also hit 85% of greens in regulation. The three times Casey had competed at this tournament he finished T-6th, T-4th, and 20th.
Sergio Garcia ($9,100)
Garcia finished in the same spot as Casey last weekend, although finished with 10 less fantasy points than Casey. Garcia won this tournament in 2008, and in the three times since, has not finished outside the top 30.
Louis Oosthuizen ($8,800)
Oosthuizen is very smart to make this his first start of the season. He has not finished outside the top 15 in the last four years at this tournament. I see him making it five straight this year.
Chris Wood ($8,100)
Wood may be the hottest player in golf with three consecutive top-10 finishes on the European Tour. He played here in 2013 and finished T39th. His confidence is much higher this time though, so look for a better result.
Danny Lee ($7,700)
This is the perfect buy-low point for Lee as he withdrew last week due to a blister on his finger. The only other time he played at this tournament was in 2009 where he finished T66th. Lee is such a consistent and calm player that he will turn it around this week.
Thorbjorn Olesen ($7,100)
Olesen finished T6th last year and T11th in 2012. He finished T50th two weeks ago and T41st last week. He is slowly improving, but should play well on a course he has played well on.
