Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back T. J Yeldon may miss this Sunday's matchup against the Houston Texans. Yeldon has been out with a groin injury he suffered in Week 5 in a game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday, and is not expected to practice on Friday either. Head Coach Gus Bradley has said that playing Yeldon could be a game-time decision.
Jacksonville will release a final injury report later on Friday, but it seems that Yeldon will be listed as questionable. It is unusual for a rookie to play after missing practice in the week leading up to Sunday.
If Yeldon remains out, expect to see Toby Gerhart or Denard Robinson take on larger roles. Gerhart was seen practicing on Thursday, and Robinson has finally gotten reps in for the first time since he suffered a sprained MCL in Week 2.
