St. Louis Rams rookie running back Todd Gurley should see more playing time going forward, according to head coach Jeff Fisher. Last week was Gurley's NFL debut, but he only played 14 snaps in the team's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Even with Fisher stating that Gurley should see more playing time, he is not a recommended fantasy football option for week 4. The Rams are currently using a running back by committee with Gurley , Tre Mason and Benny Cunningham all sharing playing time. Gurley is expected to be the team's every-down running back at some point in the near future, but that might not happen at all this season.
Gurley is worth holding onto in all leagues, but take a wait and see approach when it comes to starting him. Until he starts being productive, he'll be safer on your bench. Take the same approach when it comes to Mason.
As long as Gurley and Mason are healthy, Cunningham is not worth owning in leagues.
