When Andre Johnson left the Houston Texans to join Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts, many people expected him to thrive with his new team. After all, Luck is considered the best quarterback Johnson has ever had in his 13 NFL seasons. But through three games, Johnson has been a huge disappointment hauling in just seven passes for 51 yards.
So, that brings us to the following question: is it time to drop Johnson from your fantasy football rosters?
Well, before we answer that question, let's get Johnson's thoughts on his role with the team. He believes his time will come, and he doesn't seem to care about his personal stats ...yet.
“In coming to this team, I knew that we had a lot of guys here that can make plays,” Johnson said, according to ESPN. “You just have to wait [for] your time. Your time will come. I’ve had my fair share of being the No. 1 guy, catching eight or nine balls a game. My biggest reason for coming here was to come in and help as much as I can to win games.
Fantasy perspective: No, do not drop Johnson from your roster just yet, but don't start him either. Take a "wait and see" approach when it comes to Johnson. He's far too talented to drop, but try to hold off on starting him until he starts putting up better numbers.
