BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
OWNED IN: 29% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: I’m finally there. I’m in the camp of the Red Rocket. I started him in a 12-team league on Sunday, and was handsomely rewarded to the tune of 214 yards, three touchdowns and zero turnovers. Dalton has played remarkably well through two games, totaling 483 yards and five scores with precisely zero turnovers. He’s on pace for the highest yards-per-attempt of this career, and for obviously the best QBR he has ever had. I genuinely believe he can keep it up, and especially in Week 3 against the Ravens.
Baltimore just got torched by Derek Carr and the Raiders, and Dalton has much more to work with than they do. He finally has A.J. Green, Marvin Jones and Tyler Eifert all healthy at the same time, and he has spread the ball around to all three through two games. If you watch the game tape, he’s simply managing the game better.
He’s making smarter throws and looks relaxed in the pocket. I totally expect him to continue this hot streak, and while I don’t advise starting him ahead of any of the obvious guys, he could be exactly the fill-in you need if you’re a Tony Romo owner. Target him on the Week 3 waiver wire if he's still available in your league.
