What's up RotoBallers. Below are my FanDuel lineup picks for Monday, September 21st.We're got a 10 game night scheduled. First pitch is slated for 7:05 EDT.
My goal with these DFS picks, as always, is to try to choose players who will outperform their expectations. These players can be high-cost players, or they can be sleepers, but we are always looking for players that have a chance to return the greatest value on FanDuel.

Offenses to Target for FanDuel Stacking
Chicago Cubs LHB versus Wily Peralta
I'm expecting most of the Cubs lineup, namely the left-handed hitters, to have a field day tonight in Wrigley against Peralta. Peralta has been a gift for lefties all season, allowing a.373 wOBA and .533 slugging percentage over the course of 19 starts. It will all depend on lineup configuration, but I'm targeting Kyle Schwarber, Chris Coghlan, Anthony Rizzo and Miguel Montero in this stack.
The Piartes hitters get a major bump in playing at Coors and their right-handed hitters in particular have a nice matchup today. As a bonus, they're mostly quite affordable, too. For the season, right-handed batters own a .352 wOBA and .486 slugging percentage against Gray. At Coors, the numbers are even more inflated for Gray, as he's allowed a .551 slugging percentage there.
Honorable Mention: Tigers RHB against Erik Johnson
DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel
Chris Archer (SP, TB) - $12,000
It was a bit of a toss up for me - deciding between Archer and David Price, that is - until I compared the strikeout opportunity each of these guys have in front of them tomorrow. Both are averaging over nine strikeouts per nine innings (9.2 for Price, 11.02 for Archer), but Archer faces a Red Sox team that strikes out in 26% of their at-bats versus right-handed pitchers, which is four percent more than the Yankees against RHP. Of course, both studs have been brilliant this season and I don't think you could go wrong one way or another.
Eduardo Rodriguez (SP, BOS) - $7,400
E-Rod is a great value play tonight at this cost. For a pitcher that had been up and down and unpredictable earlier in the season, he sure has had a pretty strong second half. In each of his last three starts, he's allowed just one earned run. For the season, he's posted 7.4 strikeouts per nine innings and he handles right-handed hitters very well, striking out over 18 percent of them while holding them to a .338 slugging percentage.
DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel
Miguel Montero (C, CHC) - $2,900
Miguel provides pop at the catching position for under 3K, which is pretty ideal. He owns a .375 batting average lifetime against Peralta and he's .442 slugger against right-handed pitching for his career.
Justin Morneau (1B, COL) - $3,900
Morneau has been swinging a hot bat since his return to the lineup and he's got a number of things going in his favor tonight. He hits in the middle of a Rockies lineup that should produce runs tonight at Coors (over/under of 10.5) and for his career, he owns a .526 OBP in his at-bats against AJ Burnett. He is also a career .513 slugger against RHP.
Neil Walker (2B, PIT) - $3,400
Walker gets the Coors Field boost tonight and I like his chances of picking on rookie pitcher Jon Gray. He's hitting .333 over the past two weeks and for the season, owns a .339 wOBA and .182 ISO against right-handed pitching.
Kris Bryant (3B, CHC) - $4,600
Continuing the trend of picking on Wily Peralta, I like KB at the hot corner this evening. I think the Cubs hitters will jump all over Peralta and as a result, Bryant should have ample chances to knock in some runs. This season, Bryant has a .386 wOBA and .219 ISO against right-handed pitching, and Peralta isn't a particularly good one.
Andrelton Simmons (SS, ATL) - $2,200
I'm not floored with any of the options today at shortstop, but I think Andrelton can be a really nice punt here. He's swinging the stick well over the last two weeks (.320 batting average) and faces a pitcher in Jon Niese who is really struggling in the second half of the season.
DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel
Trayce Thompson (OF, CHW) - $3,000
Trayce Thompson, destroyer of left-handed pitching, is almost a must play at this price point. For the season, Thompson owns a ridiculous .497 wOBA and .379 ISO against left-handed pitching.
Kyle Schwarber (OF, CHC) - $4,200
He's a bit pricey but I can't help but pick on Wily Peralta. Schwarber is particularly adept at crushing right-handers, as evidenced by his season .712 slugging percentage.
Stephen Piscotty (OF, STL) - $2,600
Piscotty is another hitter getting hot at the right time and as a bonus, he's incredibly affordable tonight. He's facing rookie John Lamb and Piscotty is the proud owner of a .399 wOBA and .205 ISO against right-handed pitching this season.
