Adam Kloffenstein Dealing With Shoulder Fatigue
3 days agoAccording to Keegan Matheson of MLB.com, Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Adam Kloffenstein (shoulder) is dealing with shoulder fatigue. Matheson noted that his MRI showed no structural damage and that he should resume throwing in a few days. Kloffenstein missed the final two months of the 2024 campaign with a shoulder injury. He signed with Toronto on a minor league deal earlier this offseason. Last summer, he logged just one inning in the major leagues with the St. Louis Cardinals as he spent the majority of the season with the Memphis Redbirds. Across 89 1/3 innings at Triple-A, Kloffenstein held a 4.74 ERA with a 1.33 WHIP. He struck out 73 batters and served up a hefty 41 free passes. Fantasy managers should expect the 24-year-old to open the season with Triple-A Buffalo.
