Zach Agnos One To Watch In Rockies Camp
42 seconds agoMLB.com's Thomas Harding writes that Colorado Rockies right-hander Zach Agnos is one to watch in spring training and could be competing for an Opening Day roster spot. The former 10th-round pick in 2022 out of East Carolina University finished last year as the team's No. 28 prospect. He had a pristine 1.38 ERA, 17 saves and 63 strikeouts in 52 1/3 innings with High-A Spokane and Double-A Hartford in 2024 with an arsenal that includes a four-seam fastball, a cutter, a slider and a split-finger changeup. Agnos also played shortstop in college and has saved 44 games in the minors over the last two seasons. Look no further than Seth Halvorsen as a young relief arm that became dominant for the Rockies late last season, which makes Agnos a young relief prospect to watch for fantasy managers in dynasty/keeper leagues in 2025.
