Leevi Merilainen, who improved to 8-3-1 with Saturday's 6-0 win over the Minnesota Wild, has been reassigned to the AHL by the Senators, indicating that Ullmark is ready to take over the crease on Monday against the Nashville Predators. Ullmark has missed 18 games with a back injury. He has put together a 12-7-2 record during his first year with the Senators, allowing 2.38 goals with a .915 save percentage and three shutouts.
