Nick Kurtz 2025 Fantasy Baseball Outlook: Will There be an Impact in 2025?
17 mins agoWe don't often see a player debut in the Majors the year after he was drafted, but it's certainly possible for some advanced collegiate bats like Nick Kurtz. After being one of the best hitters in the nation during his time at Wake Forest, Kurtz was taken 4th overall by the Athletics and played in 25 games between the minors and Arizona Fall League after the draft, combining for six doubles, six home runs, and 21 walks. Given how advanced Kurtz is and the fact that he's already seen time in Double-A, a debut later on in 2025 isn't out of the question. His blend of contact, approach, and power is top-notch and could allow him to not only make a fantasy impact this season, but make him one of the top first basemen for fantasy as soon as 2026.
