LaMelo Ball Ruled Out Versus The Clippers
19 seconds agoCharlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (ankle) won't play on Friday against the Clippers. The 2020 No. 3 overall pick sprained his left ankle in Monday's meeting with the Los Angeles Lakers and wasn't available on Wednesday versus the Brooklyn Nets. The Hornets plan to update his condition "as appropriate." For now, Ball will miss his 14th contest of the 2024-25 campaign, although he'll likely be sidelined for more moving ahead. With Mark Williams (foot), Cody Martin (sports hernia), and Brandon Miller (wrist) also unavailable, the team will look for added production from guys like Vasilije Micic, Moussa Diabate, and Josh Green (foot), who is probable. Of course, Miles Bridges, who had 23 points, 13 boards, two steals, and two blocks on Wednesday, should remain Charlotte's top producer.
