1 min agoPittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby led the way on Thursday evening in their 5-3 victory over the Edmonton Oilers. Crosby tallied three points (one goal and two helpers). He tallied his first assist on Bryan Rust's 19th goal of the season. Later in the first, he would add another secondary assist, this time on Drew O'Connor's sixth of the season. In the second period, Crosby would find the back of the net on the power-play goal. This three-point showing pushed Crosby to the No.9 spot on the all-time points list. Crosby has now tallied five points over his past two games and 20 over his past 13. The 37-year-old remains a must-start player in all formats, especially given how well his linemates (Bryan Rust and Rickard Rakell) have performed lately.
