Joshua Kelley Could See First Attempts Of Season In Week 18
1 week agoAccording to Turron Davenport of ESPN, Tennessee Titans running back Joshua Kelley will serve as part of a committee in Sunday's game against the Houston Texans. Titans starting RB Tony Pollard (ankle) is a game-time decision, and second-in-command Tyjae Spears (concussion) is out against the Texans, which could pave the way for Kelley to see a boost in snaps. Based on last week, it seems he would play second fiddle to Julius Chestnut in the backfield against Houston, with Chestnut leading the charge as a replacement for Spears after his injury. However, 27-year-old Kelley is the more experienced player, totaling 1,148 rushing yards and six touchdowns since being drafted in 2020. Houston has allowed 115.8 rushing yards per game this season, but Kelley–having not tallied a single carry yet in the 2024 campaign–is still not a reliable lineup option for fantasy this week.
