Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (knee) hasn't played since week 13 due to a knee injury. He's now missed all or the vast majority of seven total games, as he hurt his hamstring earlier in the season and didn't play in Weeks 7-9. He is no stranger to injuries, as he hasn't played more than 15 games in a year since he was a rookie.
It hasn't been an ideal season for the former South Dakota State Jackrabbit, but his team has played very well so far, and now boasts a 12-3 record. Backup tight end Grant Calcaterra has played fine in relief of the seventh-year pro, though TE production overall on this team hasn't been ideal so far.
So will Goedert play again this year?

Is Dallas Goedert Out For The Season?
That depends on what you're looking for. If you're hoping he'll be back for the final regular season games, that's not about to happen. He was placed on injured reserve ahead of Week 14, meaning he's required to miss at least one more contest (Week 17) before he's eligible to return.

But the Eagles have stated that they intend him to be back for the playoffs, and Philly has already clinched a playoff spot. Though they haven't locked up the #1 seed, that's much less likely to happen after their loss to the Washington Commanders in Week 16. And quarterback Jalen Hurts (concussion) was injured during that game.
Hurts is now in concussion protocol, and he could miss the team's next game. It makes little sense to rush Goedert back -- Philly technically hasn't won the division, but they're headed to the postseason anyway. It's simply better for them to let their star players get healthy.
But No. 88 should return once the postseason rolls around, meaning that people who play Daily Fantasy Sports will be able to put him in their lineups if they choose. Playoff football typically forces offenses to change their game plans at least slightly, so perhaps he could present more upside.
