It’s Week 16, which began with the Chargers picking up a win over the Broncos. With the victory, Los Angeles is nearly guaranteed to make the postseason, although Denver is still in the hunt. Entering Week 16, nine teams have already been eliminated from playoff contention, with more expected to come after this weekend.
In this article, I will be providing you with my Week 16 daily fantasy football lineup picks for FanDuel and the 2024 NFL season. These lineups can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel.

FanDuel Quarterbacks - Week 16 DFS Picks
Joe Burrow - vs. CLE ($8,300)
Burrow was limited at practice throughout the week. However, he doesn’t carry an injury designation heading into Sunday’s AFC North showdown with the Browns.
That’s not a surprise, especially with the Bengals still alive for a postseason berth. There are a handful of players who are in the running to win the MVP award.
Yet, it’s safe to say Burrow is one of them. He leads the league in a number of passing categories, including touchdowns (35) and yards (3,977). With that said, Burrow should be viewed as a top DFS option against a Browns defense that has allowed 25.4 points this season.
Michael Penix Jr. - vs. NYG ($6,000)
Atlanta signed Kirk Cousins to a lucrative four-year, $180 million contract last offseason. The acquisition of the multi-time Pro Bowler was supposed to provide some stability at the quarterback spot, something the team hasn’t had since Matt Ryan.

However, that hasn’t been the case. With Cousins out as the Falcons’ starting signal-caller, the team will turn to Penix, who will make the first start of his career in Week 16 against the Giants. New York has only two wins this season, so the rookie has an excellent opportunity to get off to a good start.
Also Consider: Josh Allen ($9,400), Baker Mayfield ($8,100)
FanDuel Running Backs - Week 16 DFS Picks
James Conner – at CAR ($8,400)
Conner doesn’t always get the credit he deserves. But he’s had another quality year. In 14 games this season, the 2017 No. 105 overall pick has amassed 973 yards off 217 carries, adding 41 grabs for 361 yards.

He’s also totaled eight touchdowns. The Cardinals need some wins to have a chance of making the playoffs. Conner who is coming off a potent Week 15 effort, could do some more damage against a miserable Panthers’ defense
Jahmyr Gibbs – at CHI ($8,300)
The Lions' backfield is arguably the best in the league. Unfortunately, the team will be without David Montgomery, potentially for the remainder of the season, because of a knee injury suffered in Sunday’s loss to the Bills. As a result, Gibbs will fly mostly solo for the foreseeable future.
Surely, he’s up to the task. The 22-year-old has been one of the best backs in the National Football League throughout the 2024-25 campaign.
Gibbs has already run for over 1,000 yards, and he also has 14 touchdowns, with two occurring in Week 15. With the Bears on tap for Week 16, Gibbs should get all the work he can handle, both as a receiver and runner, versus a Chicago defense that has struggled against the run this season.
Also Consider: Chase Brown ($8,200), Chuba Hubbard ($7,100)

FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 16 DFS Picks
Ja'Marr Chase - vs. CLE ($9,500)
Chase has 15 touchdowns this season, with eight occurring in the Bengals’ previous four contests heading into Sunday’s win over the Titans. Although the former LSU Tiger didn’t find the end zone in Week 15, he still finished with nine catches for 94 yards.
The Bengals are up to a 9.6% of making the playoffs, per ESPN Analytics.
As Ja'Marr Chase noted yesterday, the first time in weeks the Bengals have felt tangible playoff hope.
— Ben Baby (@Ben_Baby) December 20, 2024
Of course, Chase’s services won’t come cheap. Still, the upside is there for a favorable matchup with the Cleveland Browns in Week 16.
Jauan Jennings – at Miami ($7,000)
The 49ers were anticipated to return to the Super Bowl this season. While there’s a chance that could happen, things don’t look promising.
To be fair, the team had Christian McCaffrey and Brandon Aiyuk (among others) go down with injuries, which certainly hasn’t helped things. The 49ers need a win against the Dolphins in South Beach on Sunday. For that to happen, Jennings will certainly need to play his best.
The wideout caught seven passes for 90 yards and two touchdowns against the Bears in Week 14. But he only had two receptions versus the Rams last Thursday night. However, Jennings at least saw nine targets. With 17 targets in the last two games, the 27-year-old should remain heavily involved in Week 16.
Also Consider: Brian Thomas Jr. ($7,300), Jakobi Meyers ($6,700), DJ Moore ($6,300), Jalen McMillan ($5,800)
FanDuel Tight Ends - Week 16 DFS Picks
Trey McBride - at CAR ($7,600)
It’s been 14 games. However, McBride is still without a trip to the end zone in 2024-25. Without question, he’s been productive, ranking second in the league at the position in catches (89) and receiving yards (938).
Will McBride finish the year without a touchdown? Possibly. Yet, there is hope in Week 16, with McBride going up against a Panthers defense that has allowed 10 touchdowns to opposing tight ends this season, the most in the National Football League.
Also Consider: George Kittle ($7,600), Jake Ferguson ($5,300)
