Kalif Raymond Looking Unlikely For Week 13
19 seconds agoDetroit Lions wide receiver/kick returner Kalif Raymond (foot) was listed as a non-participant in Tuesday's practice for the second straight day, making it more unlikely that he won't be available for the team this Thursday on Thanksgiving versus the division-rival Chicago Bears. The 30-year-old is getting a second opinion on the foot injury he suffered in the Week 12 win over the Indianapolis Colts, and the Lions already expressed earlier this week that they don't love Raymond's chances of suiting up on a short week. They'll most likely hold him out against the Bears and hope he can make it back to play in Week 13 for another divisional showdown against the Green Bay Packers. His primary value to Detroit comes as their top punt returner, as he has only 16 receptions for 204 yards and two TDs on 21 targets in 11 games in 2024.
