The Carolina Panthers have one of the deepest running back units in the NFL. Chuba Hubbard has played well as the starting running back. He is the RB7 for the year, averaging 13.8 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
Meanwhile, Miles Sanders has been productive as the No. 2 running back. He is the RB50 this season, averaging 4.4 fantasy points per game. More importantly, Jonathon Brooks is waiting to make his NFL debut.
Will the rookie running back play in Week 10? Should fantasy players start Hubbard this week? Let’s dive into it.

Is Jonathon Brooks Injured Or Playing In Week 10?
The Panthers activated Brooks off the Non-Football Injury list earlier this week. The rookie is coming off a torn ACL in his final game at Texas. Carolina had to activate him off the NFI list this week or place the former Longhorns star on season-ending injured reserve.
While Brooks has been a full participant in practice the past two weeks, head coach Dave Canales said the rookie is questionable to play Sunday against the New York Giants in Germany. Fantasy players should avoid starting the former Texas star this week, even if he isn’t on a snap count.

Should I Start Chuba Hubbard?
Meanwhile, Hubbard has become a must-start running back every week. The veteran running back signed a four-year extension earlier this week, keeping him with the franchise through the 2028 season. More importantly, Hubbard has averaged 14.8 rushing attempts for 73.9 yards per game, totaling five rushing touchdowns, including a season-high two in Week 9.

The veteran running back has a solid matchup against the Giants in Germany. New York has surrendered 173.7 rushing yards and 26.3 fantasy points per game to running backs over the past three weeks, giving up at least 114 yards in every matchup.
Fantasy players should start Hubbard as an RB1 in Week 10, even if Brooks makes his NFL debut.
