The San Francisco 49ers feature one of the most high-powered and talented offenses in the NFL and the team is heading into a Week 10 matchup coming off their bye week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Star wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk recently tore his ACL and will miss the rest of the season, which could open things up for their other two wide receivers on the depth chart.
This means wheels up for the rest of the 49ers other pass catchers, right? Well not so far, running back Christian McCaffrey is returning to action, and there's Deebo Samuel Sr. and George Kittle to contend for targets with.
Should you pick up Ricky Pearsall or Jauan Jennings ahead of Week 10? Let's dive in.

Ricky Pearsall Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Outlook
Sleeper Of The Week: (Week 10)

• Already running the full route tree

For fantasy managers, Pearsall is a name to keep an eye on as the 49ers look to replace Aiyuk’s production. He’ll be competing for targets with the likes of Samuel, Kittle, and Jauan Jennings, but Pearsall’s skill set could give him a chance to carve out a role.

His size and physicality give him a serious edge, especially in the red zone, and with Aiyuk out for the season, the 49ers may look to lean on him more in those key situations. It’s a crowded receiving room, no doubt, but Jennings has shown he can deliver when his number is called.
Should I Pickup Ricky Pearsall or Jauan Jennings For Fantasy Football?
On the season, Jennings has put up 25 receptions for 404 yards and three touchdowns, despite missing the last two games with a hip injury. That injury is worth keeping an eye on, but if he’s back in the mix, he’s got solid WR2/3 potential for fantasy managers in need of a sleeper. With Aiyuk’s targets up for grabs, Jennings has plenty of upside heading into the back half of the season.

With his college pedigree and now a clean bill of health, Pearsall has the potential to add some spark to the 49ers' offense. While he may not be a plug-and-play fantasy starter just yet, he’s worth a stash in deeper leagues as we see if he can emerge as a reliable option down the stretch.
For now, Jennings seems like the safer play, but Pearsall is probably the lottery ticket with some unknown upside.
