BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: TE1
ANALYSIS: Mike Gesicki can be considered a low-end TE1 this week as the Bengals prepare to face the Ravens on Thursday night. With wide receiver Tee Higgins likely sidelined again due to a quad injury, Gesicki has become a reliable target in Higgins’ absence.
Over the past two weeks without Higgins, Gesicki has delivered strong performances, recording 12 catches for 173 yards and two touchdowns.
His increased involvement in the offense has made him a key option for quarterback Joe Burrow, especially in the red zone. This production trend makes Gesicki a valuable play in a tough divisional matchup, where his consistency could lead to solid fantasy points as a low-end TE1.

If Higgins does manage to play, Gesicki’s role may see a slight decrease, but he could still be viable as a TE2 option. Even with Higgins on the field, Gesicki has shown the ability to produce, though his target share is slightly reduced.
However, given the likelihood that Higgins will remain out, Gesicki is a recommended start with TE1 potential for this week.
His recent chemistry with Burrow and the volume of targets in a potentially competitive game script make Gesicki an appealing choice for managers looking for stability and scoring potential at the tight end position.
