Gabe Davis Doesn't Carry An Injury Designation Against Green Bay
2 months agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Gabe Davis (knee) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers. The 25-year-old was limited this week with a knee issue, but will suit up against the Packers. He is a boom-or-bust fantasy option, as usual in Week 8. Top rookie teammate Brian Thomas Jr. may be shadowed by Jaire Alexander, leaving Davis extra room to operate and potentially take advantage of Green Bay's other corners. However, Davis is hard to trust in fantasy. He put up two touchdowns against the Chicago Bears two weeks ago in an even tougher matchup but only put up a single catch for 13 yards last week against the New England Patriots, a much easier matchup than the Bears and Packers. Throughout his career, the former Buffalo Bill has been impossible to trust, and that shouldn't change this week. Davis should be viewed as a WR4 for most fantasy managers, but for those who are desperate, he can be considered a touchdown-dependent flex.
