1 month agoLas Vegas Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew II will face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8. He took over in Week 7 for Aidan O'Connell (thumb), who is now headed for injured reserve. The former Jacksonville Jaguar completed 15 of 34 passes for 154 yards, no touchdowns, and three interceptions. He also rushed once for two yards and lost a fumble. His top wide receiver, Jakobi Meyers (ankle) missed practice Thursday, so his status for Week 8 is in question. Minshew scored -5.6 fantasy points in his last outing. A quarterback coming off of a four-turnover game now set to face one of the best defenses in the NFL is a tough player to start in fantasy football.
