New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill has been quiet this season, as he has had just one impactful game in Week 4, where he scored a rushing touchdown.
However, Hill suffered a rib injury in Week 5 that has kept him sidelined. Many fantasy managers wonder when Hill is expected to return to the Saints offense.
When will Hill return to action, and what is his fantasy football outlook when he does? Let's dive in.

Taysom Hill Fantasy Football Outlook
Hill's rest-of-season fantasy football outlook is highly volatile, but he remains an intriguing option due to his unique role in the Saints' offense. Once he returns from his rib injury, Hill’s usage will likely continue to be a mix of running back, tight end, and quarterback.
His ability to score touchdowns in unconventional ways, whether through short-yardage runs, trick plays, or gadget formations, gives him weekly boom potential, especially in deeper leagues.
Hill's involvement is often unpredictable, and his fantasy managers will need to accept the risk of low-floor games. His usage as a tight end remains limited, so in PPR leagues, his value is capped unless he scores a touchdown. Overall, he’s best viewed as a boom-or-bust TE2 or Flex play, with upside during weeks when the Saints get creative or face favorable matchups in the red zone.
Fantasy managers shouldn't rely on consistent production from such an unpredictable player. In three games this season, Hill has logged 14 carries for 77 yards and two touchdowns, with just two catches for two yards. If he plays in Week 8, Hill will be a highly risky flex or TE2 option.
