Xavier Legette Struggles Against Commanders
1 month agoCarolina Panthers rookie wide receiver Xavier Legette had just two receptions for three yards and one carry for six yards in Sunday's 40-7 loss to the Washington Commanders. It was Legette's lowest receiving total of the year and his second game with fewer than 10 scrimmage yards. Carolina's passing game was in complete disarray, with only one Panther finishing with more than two receptions. This was also the second time in three weeks that Bryce Young relieved Andy Dalton late in the game. However, head coach Dave Canales said he remains "committed" to Dalton postgame. While the first-round pick from South Carolina has had some moments this year, he should be largely avoided for fantasy purposes, especially against a tough Denver defense next week.
