Miles Sanders Registers Another Subdued Performance In Week 7
2 months agoCarolina Panthers halfback Miles Sanders carried the ball three times for 34 yards—including a 26-yard rush—in the team's 40-7 blowout loss to the Washington Commanders. However, his only reception in the game went for -6 yards, reducing his scrimmage total to just 28 yards. It's the third straight week Sanders has registered exactly four touches, as his usage has been significantly reduced since Week 4. With rookie running back Jonathon Brooks (knee) set to enter the mix in the coming weeks, Sanders is at risk of falling to RB3, entering complete obscurity. NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reported that Sanders has garnered interest as a trade candidate, which may offer him a path to fantasy relevance in a new environment. Sanders will look to turn things around in a tough matchup against the Denver Broncos in Week 8.
