Josh Reynolds Dealing With Fractured Finger
2 months agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Josh Reynolds (finger) is dealing with a fractured finger, according to head coach Sean Payton. The Broncos put Reynolds on Injured Reserve over the weekend, so he'll be forced to miss at least the next three games after Denver's Week 6 loss to the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. The earliest Reynolds would be able to return will be for a Week 10 divisional clash against the Kansas City Chiefs. Until then, Broncos rookie wideouts Devaughn Vele and Troy Franklin will see added opportunities to make plays in the passing game alongside Courtland Sutton. Vele has shown some nice chemistry with rookie quarterback Bo Nix in his two games played, while Franklin, a former college teammate of Nix's at Oregon, scored his first career NFL touchdown in Week 6. Still, both wideouts will need to show more to become realistic waiver-wire pickups in 12-team leagues.
