ANALYSIS: J.K. Dobbins should still be considered a solid RB2 option this week as the Chargers face the Denver Broncos, despite his recent dip in production.
After a red-hot start to the season, where he ran for over 130 yards in each of the first two weeks, Dobbins has cooled off significantly, managing only 76 yards on 29 carries over the past two games.
However, Dobbins' talent and workload remain intact, as he's still the primary ball-carrier in the Chargers' offense. His guaranteed touches, even during less productive outings, make him a steady option for fantasy managers, particularly in a matchup against a Broncos defense that has been inconsistent this year.

What keeps Dobbins in the RB2 conversation is his receiving upside, which adds to his fantasy value in PPR leagues. Even if his rushing efficiency has dipped, the Chargers have shown a willingness to involve him in the passing game, creating additional opportunities for him to produce.
Given his role in both the ground and air attack, Dobbins offers a relatively safe floor in fantasy, with the potential for a bounce-back performance against a Denver team that has struggled to contain running backs at times.
His workload and versatility should give him enough opportunities to deliver a solid fantasy outing, keeping him firmly in the RB2 tier for Week 6.
