Joey Logano Triggered Big One at Talladega and Fell Below Cutline
2 mins agoJoey Logano had an unexpectedly disappointing run at Talladega yesterday although most people expected much more from him especially after his win at Atlanta. Although Logano was one of the dominant drivers for most of Stage 3, making seven on-track passes for the lead in an epic duel with his teammate Austin Cindric and previous No. 22 car driver A.J. Allmendinger, he arguably triggered the Big One by bumping his former teammate Brad Keselowski into his current teammate Cindric, which wrecked nearly the entire field and relegated Logano to a 33rd-place finish, which dropped him 13 points below the cutline because he shockingly failed to score any stage points. Since Tyler Reddick and Chase Elliott, the last two drivers above the cutline, are two of the best road racers in the biz, it's hard to imagine Logano overcoming that.
