Chris Buescher May Be A Decent DFS Option To Score Positive Place Differential At Kansas
3 months agoRFK Racing driver Chris Buescher will start 25th after qualifying for this week's Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway. It will be the lowest starting position of Buescher's career since the May 2022 race at Kansas, the first race at the site in the Next-Gen car. In 17 races at Kansas, Buescher has 10 top-20 finishes, including a career-best finish of second earlier in the year, losing in the closest Cup finish in history to Kyle Larson. With 29 races completed this season, Buescher has one win and 23 top-20 finishes, including six of the last seven Cup events. At 1.5-mile Intermediate tracks this year, Buescher's results have been mixed with only two top-15 finishes at the track type and scoring positive Place Differential three times. In practice, Buescher ranked 27th in overall lap averages and ranked among the top-10 fastest in the 20, 25, and 30 consecutive lap average categories. Considering his proficiency in the longer runs and his high upside, Buescher is a driver who can be comfortably rostered in any DFS format this week and should easily place in the Top 20.
