Josh Reynolds A Desperation Flex Option Versus Jets
2 months agoSurprisingly, Denver Broncos wide receiver Josh Reynolds leads the team with 174 receiving yards on 11 catches (15 targets) through the first three weeks of the season. He is second on the team in targets behind Courtland Sutton's 27. But with the Broncos offense struggling under rookie quarterback Bo Nix as he spreads the ball around, Reynolds profiles as a desperation flex play in Week 4 against a stout New York Jets defense that has allowed the fourth-fewest passing yards per game so far in 2024. Reynolds has been battling an Achilles injury that kept him limited in Wednesday's practice, but he was a full-go on Thursday and Friday and was removed from the final injury report for the week. The 29-year-old is only rostered in 3% of Yahoo leagues at the moment and is coming off his worst game in the Week 3 in over the Buccaneers, when he caught two passes for 36 yards.
