The NFL has truly been a chaotic league to start the season, and there's no reason to think the fun will end in Week 4.
After seeing all four AFC East teams play on Thursday nights the past two weeks, we are now treated to two NFC East teams competing to stay out of the basement in the division. The 1-2 Dallas Cowboys will travel to New York to face the 1-2 New York Giants.
This piece will highlight the critical matchups and start time for Thursday night's game.

The Cowboys and Giants will battle to stay in contention for the division lead. Both the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Commanders are 2-1 to lead the division, so Dallas and New York need to keep pace.
Both teams playing Thursday night have one victory, and both of those victories came at the expense of the Cleveland Browns. The Giants are coming fresh off their stellar victory in Week 3, while the Cowboys almost made an incredible fourth-quarter comeback in an exciting game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Despite the similar records, the vibes from both teams are radically different. The Giants were close to coming off two consecutive wins as they took the Commanders to overtime in Week 2, and the team has been feeding exciting rookie Malik Nabers to solid success thus far.
Meanwhile, the Cowboys enter Thursday losers of two straight, with their incredible 2023 defense failing to show up so far this season.
When and How Can I Watch The Game?
Week 4's "Thursday Night Football" game is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. EDT.
The game will be streamed through Amazon Prime Video. If you are not already a Prime Video subscriber, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial. If you are only interested in the streaming options, the going rate is $8.99/month for Amazon Prime Video, with a rate of $14.99/month if you want all services offered through Amazon Prime beyond video streaming.
Additionally, you can watch the game through the NFL+ app for $6.99/month. The downside of this option is that you'd only be able to watch it on a computer, phone, or tablet. If that is how you prefer consuming media, it is cheaper unless you opt for the 30-day trial of Amazon Prime Video.
Who is Going to Win?
The Cowboys enter Thursday night as a rare heavy road favorite, as Vegas has them giving 5.5 points to the Giants.
"This is the same thing that happened last year with the Cowboys..
They get beat when they fall behind early and teams run the ball against them..
I think there's enough talent in Dallas to get things straightened out though" ~ Bill Belichick#PMSLive pic.twitter.com/Ng6rXHEnhI

Dallas will need to either figure out how to make its running game work for it or abandon it altogether in favor of relying on quarterback Dak Prescott's passing attack. The Cowboys are both terrible at running the ball and stopping the run, which has been predictably disastrous for the team to this point. The team must make the game a passing game on both sides of the ball.
Devin Singletary has been AWESOME for the Giants

As for the Giants -- they can make the game competitive by doing the opposite. Forcing Dallas to try and cobble together a running game will be crucial because it'll shorten the game (naturally helping the underdogs) while also making the Cowboys offense inefficient. Devin Singletary may be the most important offensive player in this game for both teams, as his efficiency may dictate the game script.
