2 months agoCleveland Browns tight end Jordan Akins caught his lone target for a 10-yard gain in an 18-13 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Week 1 injury to David Njoku (ankle) made Akins an interesting sleeper candidate heading the game against Jacksonville but he only drew the one target from Deshaun Watson in the win as the Browns instead went a bit more run-heavy than they did last week. Akins is unlikely to be a major part of the Cleveland passing offense, even while Njoku is sidelined. He can stay on waivers heading into a Week 3 matchup against the New York Giants.--Matt T - RotoBaller
