Davis Allen Downgraded To Out
2 months agoLos Angeles Rams tight end Davis Allen (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. The Rams will be on the road for the second week in a row, but they'll do it without their second-year TE. Allen played just 8% of snaps last week, while fellow teammate Colby Parkinson played 88% to Hunter Long's 4%. Parkinson was far and away the biggest benefactor amongst Rams tight ends in Week 1 and should continue to see an elevated snap and target share, with Puka Nacua (knee) set to miss the next four games on IR. Allen performed well late last season while filling in for Tyler Higbee (knee) and looked poised to take on a more significant role in 2024. However, he'll have to wait at least one more week to register his first catch of the campaign. He can be left on waiver wires for now.
