BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues (Especially PPR)

ANALYSIS: Kansas City Chiefs running back Samaje Perine signed with the team just before Thursday's game against the Ravens, and while he contributed minimally, he is worth an add. He could fill the Jerick McKinnon role, which was very productive in 2022.
While McKinnon struggled in 2023, he was excellent down the stretch in 2022, and Perine's quick signing by the Chiefs (3 days after he was released by the Denver Broncos) indicates that they have confidence in his abilities. Perine caught 50 passes for 455 yards in 2023 and is a good pass protector.
Perine's stats speak for themselves, but any RB who can also be effective in blocking Dallas Cowboys defensive end Micah Parsons, a 2x First Team All-Pro, will have a roster spot and get playing time.

Good players on great offenses are always worth rostering, and the Chiefs' offense is one of the best in the NFL. Plenty of late-round picks in fantasy drafts disappointed this year, and Perine is a better option than many of those drafted players.
Perine is a priority add and can be a nice handcuff for Pacheco or a solid contributor in PPR on his own. Make some space for him at the end of your roster in deeper leagues or leagues without short benches.
