BALLER MOVE: Add in PPR leagues (12-team leagues and higher)

ANALYSIS: Baltimore began the 2024-25 campaign with a Thursday night meeting with the Chiefs. Going against the defending champs is difficult for any team.
But the Ravens still put up a good fight, dropping the season-opener by only seven points. Heading into the year, most of those in the Ravens offense received plenty of attention from fantasy managers.
While guys like Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, and Zay Flowers were involved as expected against Kansas City, few envisioned Isaiah Likely finishing the night by amassing a game-high nine catches for 111 yards and a touchdown.
But what was even more surprising were the contributions from Justice Hill. Most assumed Henry’s presence in Baltimore wouldn’t allow those behind him on the depth chart to get much action, at least enough to be relevant from a fantasy standpoint.
However, Hill’s exceeded expectations in Week 1. He didn’t do much on the ground. On the other hand, the veteran was heavily involved as a pass-catcher, ending the evening by catching six of his eight targets for 52 yards.
Many are now wondering if he’s worth claiming off the waiver wire ahead of the Ravens’ Week 2 showdown with the Raiders.
Hill has spent his entire career in Baltimore since entering the league in 2019. Yet, he is coming off his best season to date, running for 387 yards and three scores off 84 carries, adding 28 receptions for 206 yards and a touchdown.
Unfortunately, his only notable performance from last season was in Week 1, when the Ravens took down the Texans. But after a quality showing versus the Chiefs, is Hill on the verge of having the most productive season of his career?
Possibly. Head coach John Harbaugh has already said that Henry likely won’t see the amount of carries he had in Tennessee. Harbaugh has also praised Hill throughout the offseason and into training camp.
Still, it would be surprising if Hill became a featured part of the offense on a regular basis, especially on the ground. His level of involvement could also decrease if (once) Keaton Mitchell returns from a knee injury.
As a result, Hill is only worth considering in PPR formats due to his pass-catching prowess, nowhere else.
Justice Hill had 1 carry for 3 yards and was in 47 plays last night.
Do you understand how unfair that is to the O-line. A clear tell for the opposing defense. When #43 is on the field, it’s a pass 🤦🏾♂️

Even then, he’s only a borderline flex option (at best) for those in 12-team fantasy leagues and up. If anything, Hill has value for insurance purposes in the event Henry goes down with an injury.
Unless that happens, a repeat performance of Week 1 from Hill consistently moving ahead is unlikely. But he could at least have a few more productive outings throughout the year, so he's not completely irrelevant.
