Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring) has strung together some impressive seasons in the past few years, providing nice boom games and being a serviceable WR2 in fantasy.
However, he's struggled with injuries much of his career, including six hamstring injuries that were significant enough to land him on injury reports. This has been a consistent concern for Higgins' fantasy managers.
Higgins is dealing with a hamstring injury now. When will Higgins come back? What is his outlook like when he returns? Let's dive in.

Tee Higgins Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Higgins, yet again, is suffering a hamstring injury. This should be extremely concerning for Higgins managers. He has a long history of injuries to the same hamstring, and it's possible it's been bothering him for even longer. The underlying cause isn't fully known but he may have long-term issues with the injured hamstring.

It's difficult to be confident that Higgins will be out of the woods when he returns from this injury. Hamstring injuries are notorious for lingering, and his has lingered for years. It's unknown what lengths he's gone to to address it, but managers should prepare for it to be a lingering issue this season.
Tee Higgins Fantasy Football Outlook
Higgins did well as a boom-or-bust player when healthy, putting up 12 games of 10+ PPR points and four games of 20+ PPR points. However, he had a down year in 2023, missing five games and only recording 20+ PPR points in 3 games. He had 7 games with under 10 PPR points and had 0 in week 1.
Higgins is a solid starter when healthy. It's tough to imagine after this history of injuries that he returns to full health, but perhaps he's been playing through a bad hamstring his entire career, so he's still worth a start in the FLEX spot at worst, especially with where he was drafted.

Higgins is a fantastic route runner and has speed to burn, as you can see on the above play. He's capable of outrunning DBs when given the chance, and has an excellent QB in Joe Burrow. However, he will need to stay healthy to capitalize on this.
Unfortunately for Higgins managers, fellow Bengals WR Andrei Iosivas did little to capitalize on his opportunity on Sunday with Higgins out. Iosivas recorded a measly three catches for 26 yards and no TDs against the Patriots. While the Bengals usually start slow, there are better options on the waiver wire in Higgins' absence.
