The entire New England offense ran through running back Rhamondre Stevenson on Sunday as he totaled an impressive 120 yards on 25 attempts. He also had an additional three targets in the passing game.
Out of the New England wideouts, Douglas saw 38 total snaps which was second to only K.J. Osborn. Osborn also saw three more targets than Douglas and caught one more pass.

While his fantasy output in the season opener left a lot to be desired, it was a positive sign seeing Douglas used as a clear starter in the passing attack. In addition, the more accustomed veteran Jacoby Brissett gets to the New England playbook the better it will be for Douglas.
For now, Douglas is a fine stash in deeper leagues and could eventually grow into a low-end WR3 as the season progresses.
