Giants Re-Sign Adoree' Jackson On Friday
3 months agoThe New York Giants re-signed free-agent cornerback Adoree' Jackson on Friday to a one-year deal, according to a source. Jackson will return to the Big Apple with the G-Men after spending the last three seasons with them, recording 136 solo tackles, two interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), 23 pass breakups, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 37 games (36 starts). The 28-year-old former 18th overall pick by the Tennessee Titans in 2017 out of USC spent the first four years of his career with the Titans and had 176 solo tackles (six for loss), two interceptions, 33 pass breakups, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 46 games played (41 starts). Due to some injuries in New York's secondary, Jackson could play regularly early in the regular season, beginning with a Week 1 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, Sept. 8.
