The Houston Texans went from one of the worst teams in the NFL to one of the best in one offseason, thanks to C.J. Stroud. The Rookie of the Year Award winner took the last-place Texans and won the AFC South in his first season.
However, he didn’t do it alone. Nico Collins and Tank Dell were outstanding players in 2023, totaling at least seven receiving scores each. Yet, that didn’t stop Houston from adding Stefon Diggs in the offseason, trading a 2025 second-round pick for the veteran wide receiver.
While Stroud couldn’t be happier about his receiving corps, fantasy players have struggled with ranking Collins, Dell, and Diggs. Let’s look at their 2024 fantasy football outlooks.

Nico Collins 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook
Collins was the WR9, averaging 14.7 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. He had a higher fantasy points per game average than several big-name wide receivers, including Mike Evans, A.J. Brown, and Ja'Marr Chase. The former Michigan star had 80 receptions on 109 targets for 1,297 receiving yards and eight touchdowns in 15 contests. Collins remains Houston’s No. 1 wide receiver after the team signed him to a significant contract extension in the offseason.

Tank Dell 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook
Dell was the WR38 as a rookie, averaging 12.9 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. Unfortunately, he missed six games because of injury. Yet, the rookie had 47 receptions on 75 targets for 709 receiving yards and seven touchdowns in 11 contests, posting a higher fantasy points per game average than Davante Adams, Amari Cooper, and Chris Olave. While the Texans added Diggs in the offseason, Dell should remain the team’s No. 2 receiver.

Stefon Diggs 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook
Diggs was the WR10, averaging 13 half-point PPR fantasy points per game last year. The veteran had 107 receptions on 160 targets for 1,183 receiving yards and eight touchdowns with the Buffalo Bills. Unfortunately, he has had late-season struggles in back-to-back years. Houston traded for Diggs in the offseason but quickly adjusted his contract into a one-year deal. The veteran might not be washed, but Diggs shouldn’t see more targets than Collins or Dell in 2024.

Who Should I Draft in Fantasy Football?
Fantasy players should want a part of the Texans' offense. However, Collins and Dell are the only two wide receivers to draft this season. They are younger and had better years in 2023 than the veteran. Furthermore, Houston has every reason to feature them in the offense, while Diggs likely won’t be back with the team next year.
