Heliot Ramos Back In Giants Lineup
4 months agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Heliot Ramos (thumb) is starting in center field and is batting second for the Giants on Tuesday against the hosting Washington Nationals and left-hander MacKenzie Gore. Ramos is back in the fold for San Fran after missing three of the last four games due to swelling in his right thumb. Fantasy managers will want to get the 24-year-old first-time All-Star back into their starting lineups, especially since he's hit a cool .423 (30-for-71) with seven of his 15 home runs on the year against left-handed pitchers. Since the All-Star break, the right-handed hitting Puerto Rican outfielder has gone 13-for-56 (.232) with a homer, two doubles, a triple, seven RBI and a run scored in 14 games played. In his first extended chance at the big-league level, Ramos has helped as outfield depth in fantasy leagues in 2024 with 15 homers while hitting .285 (83-for-291).
