Heliot Ramos Out Of Action On Monday
3 months agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Heliot Ramos (thumb) is out of the starting lineup on Monday versus the hosting Washington Nationals. Mike Yastrzemski is getting the start in center field and will bat in the nine-hole for the Giants against Nationals left-hander Patrick Corbin. In the lefty-lefty matchup and at the bottom of the batting order, Yaz won't be a popular DFS option on Monday. Ramos is missing a second straight game to begin the week due to a swollen right thumb. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day and check back on Tuesday to see if he's back in the lineup in D.C. The 24-year-old Puerto Rican was a first-time All-Star this year and has been a bright spot for the Gigantes in 2024 by hitting .285/.344/.491 with an .835 OPS, 15 homers and 53 RBI in 74 games. He's gone 13-for-56 (.232) with a homer and seven RBI in 14 games since the All-Star break, though.
