Gunnar Henderson Smashes Homer, Scores Three Times
4 months agoBaltimore Orioles shortstop Gunnar Henderson went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer on Sunday, leading the O's to a 9-5 win over the Cleveland Guardians. Henderson also scored three times. The 23-year-old has been sensational for most of the season, but July was a bit mediocre as Henderson had a .751 OPS and managed only two homers. He has gotten off to a hot start in August though, and fantasy managers should have no worries about him being one of the premiere shortstops in the league. If he wants to stay in the MVP race with Bobby Witt Jr. and Aaron Judge, though, he'll have to get back to where he was early in the season.
