Sneaky Fantasy Football QB/WR Stacks To Target - 2024 Fantasy Football Sleepers and Values

Deebo Samuel - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

QB-WR stacks in fantasy football are sometimes a cheat code. If you rostered the Dallas Cowboys' QB-WR stack last year (Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb), chances are you made it to the playoffs and even won your championship. In Week 17, the Prescott and Lamb stack scored 61.5 PPR fantasy points.

Of course, every fantasy manager is looking for a QB-WR stack like that again in 2024. Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase are a popular stack in drafts this year, and so are Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown. Prescott and Lamb is another stack most managers will want to target in the early-to-mid rounds.

However, let's look at the most underrated QB-WR stacks heading into the fantasy season. These stacks aren't as popular in drafts as the ones above, but they are sneaky ones entering the 2024 NFL season.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2024:

Kyler Murray, Marvin Harrison Jr. - Arizona Cardinals

This Kyler Murray and Marvin Harrison Jr. QB-WR stack is a riskier one in fantasy in 2024, considering this duo is fairly new. But Murray and Harrison have the potential to be an elite fantasy stack this season.

Harrison was drafted with the fourth overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and should immediately be involved in Arizona's offense. The former Ohio State product also has the talent to be a consistent fantasy option in Year 1. He caught a combined 144 passes for 2,474 yards and 28 touchdowns over his final two college seasons. Now, he joins a Cardinals offense in need of a WR1.

With Murray fully past his torn ACL, the Cardinals quarterback should be in store for a strong year. He has a generational prospect to throw passes to, and he has supported a top-five fantasy wide receiver before. In 2020, DeAndre Hopkins finished as the WR4 in PPR formats. As a result, don't sleep on this new duo in 2024.

Trevor Lawrence, Christian Kirk - Jacksonville Jaguars

The last time Christian Kirk served as Trevor Lawrence's WR1 on offense was back in 2022, and both players winded up having a career year. During that 2022 season, Kirk finished as the WR11 in PPR formats behind 84 catches for 1,108 yards and eight touchdowns, while Lawrence finished as the QB8 behind a 4,113-yard, 25-touchdown season.

With Calvin Ridley leaving in the offseason, the Lawrence and Kirk QB-WR stack could pick up where they left off in 2022. The 24-year-old quarterback should heavily target his WR1 this upcoming season, making them a sneaky stack in the later round of drafts.

Lawrence is going outside the top 125 in most drafts, while Kirk finds himself with a 63.1 ADP on Sleeper. So, while everyone in your league overpays for the Burrow-Chase stack or the Hurts-Brown stack, you can wait patiently in the middle to late rounds and take a chance on this stack.

Kirk Cousins, Drake London - Atlanta Falcons

The hype for Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London has reached a new high in drafts this year, as the young playmaker is going late in the second round. Despite finishing outside the top 30 at the wideout position in his first two NFL seasons, the arrival of quarterback Kirk Cousins surely helps his case.

Cousins has supported a top 10 fantasy wide receiver in four of the past six years, including two during the 2018 season. In 2018, both Stefon Diggs (WR10) and Adam Thielen (WR7) finished as a top 10 option in PPR formats. In 2019, Thielen finished as the WR10. Then, in 2021 and 2022, Justin Jefferson finished as the WR4 and WR1 in those respective years.

Of course, there are things that London needs to improve on during training camp to get to that fantasy status. But the potential is there for this Falcons duo to be an elite fantasy stack in 2024. Cousins has finished as a top 12 fantasy quarterback in six of the last nine years, while the 23-year-old wideout has the skillset to be a consistent WR1 in fantasy this season.

Brock Purdy, Brandon Aiyuk/Deebo Samuel Sr. - San Francisco 49ers

Fantasy managers who had the 49ers stack in 2023 were likely fairly happy. Quarterback Brock Purdy finished as the QB6, while Brandon Aiyuk (WR14) and Deebo Samuel Sr. (WR15) finished as high-end WR2s in PPR formats. However, this stack is not as popular heading into the 2024 season.

It definitely should be, though, because Purdy showed that he can support multiple wide receivers in fantasy while also putting up solid fantasy numbers himself. From Week 10 to Week 15, the young quarterback averaged 23.3 fantasy points per game. During that same stretch, Samuel averaged 23.2 PPR fantasy points, and Aiyuk averaged 15.5 PPR fantasy points

As a result, if you target Aiyuk or Samuel in the second or third round of fantasy drafts, look to pair one of them with Purdy in the later rounds. The 24-year-old has a 100.2 ADP on Sleeper, so it should be easy to stack either Purdy and Samuel together or Purdy and Aiyuk in fantasy this season.
