Sean Sullivan Dazzles In Latest Start
5 months agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Sean Sullivan logged a dominant start on Tuesday evening as she tossed five shutout frames. She allowed just three hits and struck out 10. This was the third time this season that the southpaw tallied double-digit punchouts. The Wake Forest product has looked quite strong across his four starts, where he has held a 1.57 ERA, 0.70 WHIP, and a 2:26 BB:K ratio. The 22-year-old has remained at the High-A level all season and posted a cumulative 2.30 ERA, 0.86 WHIP, and a stellar 7:90 BB:K ratio. Sullivan is considered the 13th-best prospect in the Colorado system and should spend most of next summer in the upper levels of the minor leagues.
