4 months agoThe Washington Nationals selected infielder Seaver King from Wake Forest with the tenth overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft. The 21-year-old started two seasons at the Division II level before transferring to Wake Forest for his final collegiate season. King held a strong .411/.457/.699 line with an incredible 47-game hitting streak to cap off his time at the Division II level. At Wake Forest this spring, the infielder posted a solid .308/.377/.577 slash line with 16 home runs, 64 RBI, 11 stolen bases, and a 25:34 BB:K ratio.
