Wyatt Langford Back In Cleanup Spot
5 months agoTexas Rangers rookie outfielder Wyatt Langford will once again play left field and hit cleanup for the team on Tuesday on the road in Anaheim against the division-rival Los Angeles Angels and right-hander Roansy Contreras. This will be the third straight game that Langford has hit cleanup for the defending World Series champions, and the 22-year-old youngster has responded by going 6-for-10 with a homer and three RBI in the last two games in the four-hole. His hot hitting hasn't been limited to the last two games, though, as Langford has been on a tear since June 28, hitting .432 (16-for-37) with two homers, four doubles, a triple, eight RBI, six walks and eight runs scored in 10 games played. Especially in a juicy matchup against Contreras on Tuesday, Langford should be in all starting fantasy lineups.
