Aidan Miller Ends Two-Week Power Slump
5 months agoPhiladelphia Phillies third base prospect Aidan Miller went 1-for-5 with a home run and two RBI on Thursday. Entering this game, Miller has not hit a home run in 13 games. Since joining High-A Jersey Shore on June 11, the former 27th overall pick has been struggling at the plate with a .171/.276/.303 line with just two home runs, eight RBI, and three stolen bases. Earlier this season, across 39 games at Single-A, Miller performed exceptionally well with a .275/.401/.483 line and five home runs, 26 RBI, and 10 stolen bases. MLB Pipeline ranks Miller as the former 27th overall pick as the 27th best prospect in all of baseball and projects him to not make the majors until 2027.
